Those of you who truly know me know that I believe, more than anything, that all people are created equal. Today on our Independence Day there is so much to be thankful for. We are free, we have rights, and we are protected. Thank you to all of those who work everyday to protect us. But, it is important to remember that everyone deserves freedom. Regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, etc. Every person should be allowed the same rights because all people are created equal. So, I am happy to celebrate our independence and freedom, but don’t forget there is still work to be done. This means marriage for everyone, adoption for everyone, life for everyone, choice for everyone, the list goes on and on. Keep this in mind.
